NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team posted a win in the opening set of Friday nights action on the road at SUNY New Paltz but were unable to stave off a three-straight host rally as the Hawks posted the win in SUNYAC play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball put a set win on the board Friday night in the opening frame of SUNYAC match action against host SUNY New Paltz, but were unable to stave off the host Hawks, as they collected the 3-1 league win.
- Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) recorded 17 kills to go along with three aces, three blocks and 14 digs on the day, while Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.) added six kills and six blocks.
- Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) had 15 recorded seven aces and put up 15 assists to contribute to the offensive efforts, adding 11 digs.
- Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) led the way with 21 digs, also contributing two service aces.

- Morrisville will be back in action Saturday at Oneonta to wrap up weekend league play. Opening serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
