PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's soccer hit the road for their first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game of the 2024 season, playing to a scoreless draw with United Soccer Coaches no. 17 ranked Plattsburgh State in Plattsburgh.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's soccer opened league play Saturday afternoon on the road at Plattsburgh State, playing to a scoreless draw across 90 minutes of action.
• Plattsburgh, ranked no. 17 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, had their first look at net in the 44^th minute, registering back-to-back shots, but Mustangs goalkeeper Ronaldo Fatolou (New York, N.Y.) turned away the shots sent towards low center of the net.
• Morrisville had a shot to respond, but the attempt went wide at the close of the half.
• Both teams played back and forth in the second, attempting to snatch the lead, but shot attempts sailed wide of the target.
• Plattsburgh had one final attempt to put one on the board in the final minute of action, but Fatolou turned away the bottom right attempt to keep the hosts off the board and secure the tie for the Mustangs.
• Fatolou finished with four saves across both periods of play for Morrisville.
