MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's soccer team scored under 10 minutes into the contest but was unable to hold onto the lead as visiting SUNY Delhi scored twice in the second half to hand the host Mustangs the 2-1 non-league loss in Morrisville Tuesday night.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Junior Callie Lafontaine (Chaumont, N.Y.) scored 9:17 into the opening half Tuesday night to give the host SUNY Morrisville women's soccer team a 1-0 lead, but the Mustangs were unable to pull out the win as Delhi posted two tallies in the second in non-league play in Morrisville.
• Morrisville held onto the lead until the 52^nd minute when the Broncos broke through the Mustang defense to even the contest at one off a score from Gabrielle Avallone.
• Nearly nine minutes later Delhi took the lead with a tally from Madison Thorbourne, with just over 30 minutes remaining in the contest.
• Morrisville had an opportunity to pull the contest even at two in the 75^th minute, but Delhi's goalkeeper made the save to keep the hosts with the one-goal deficit.
• A foul in the box gave Delhi the opportunity to extend their lead to two in the 85^th minute with a penalty kick, but Morrisville's Kayle Roberts (Deansboro, N.Y.) made the save off the shot sent towards the bottom center of the goal.
• Roberts finished with six stops in the loss in net for the Mustangs.
