  • UMass-Boston took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first with an RBI scoring ground out, before adding to their lead in the second with three additional runs.
  • A two-run inning in the bottom of the third saw Morrisville trail 6-0 after three, before Kaylie Kendrick (Johnston City, N.Y.) sent a single to right field to send Celeste Baldwin (Bainbridge, N.Y.) home for the Mustangs first run of the day.
  • A single by Callie Lafontaine (Chaumont, N.Y.) on the ensuing at bat loaded the bases for the Mustangs, before Kendrick scored on an error by the UMass-Boston catcher.
