OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's ice hockey team completed the weekend series against Oswego State Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 in SUNYAC action on the road in Oswego.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's hockey team fell 3-1 in SUNYAC play Saturday afternoon on the road at host Oswego State, allowing three unanswered goals in the third period.
• Morrisville led 1-0 for 34 minutes of the contest after a Hailee Easson (Okotoks, Alta.) score 8:05 into the first.
• Easson put away the dish from Miranda Bookman (Manlius, N.Y.) for the 1-0 visitor advantage.
• Morrisville was able to keep the hosts off the board throughout the first, carrying over into the second, while limiting Oswego to 24 looks on net.
• Just under three minutes into the third, however, Oswego pulled the contest even at one with the Tessa Mucha tally.
• The game was at a standstill until the 9:25 mark when the Lakers took advantage of a Mustang penalty and claimed the one goal lead with the power play score.
• Forty-three seconds later, they increased their lead to two to complete the comeback, opening the gap that the Mustangs struggled to overcome.
• Maggie Jones (Marystown, N.L.) posted the loss despite 33 saves in 59:40 of action.
