AUBURN, MASS. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's hockey fell behind in the first period and was unable to recover as they dropped a 5-0 road decision to host Anna Maria College in Auburn, Mass. Saturday evening.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's ice hockey found themselves in a 3-0 deficit after one period Saturday evening, falling come final whistle by a 5-0 tally to host Anna Maria College in Auburn, Mass. in non-conference action.
• The Mustangs were able to hold the AMCats scoreless until the 10:51 mark when they put the first tally past Morrisville netminder Grant Linville (Edmond, Okla.) for the 1-0 advantage.
• Within minutes they added another and followed shortly after with a power play score to claim the 3-0 lead after one.
• Morrisville forced Anna Maria's goaltender Matthew Hennessey to make 10 saves in the second, Linville matching to send the game into the third after a scoreless frame.
• In the third, Morrisville staved off the Anna Maria attack until the 10:47 mark when they collected their fourth of the night, sealing the win with a fifth at 16:30 to put the game out of reach down for the visitors.
• Linville finished with 30 saves in the loss in net for Morrisville.
• Hennessey recorded 24 in the shut out victory for the hosts.
