  • Trailing 2-1 with under two minutes to go, Morrisville saw an opportunity and pulled goaltender Elizabeth Timby (Getzville, N.Y.) with 1:19 remaining in the third for the extra skater, keeping a constant pressure in their offensive zone on the Stevenson defense.
  • After a blocked shot that moved the puck to the right side of the zone, Zoe Leas (North Vancouver, B.C.) found Allie Davidson (Niagara Falls, Ont.) on the left wing, who slid the puck to a wide-open Kate Mabey (Guelph, Ont.) in the center of the zone for the top shelf equalizer with 36.7 seconds remaining in the period.
  • Hailee Easson (Okotoks, Alta.) won the ensuing face-off for the Mustangs, returning the puck to the offensive zone.
