CORTLAND, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's ice hockey team took to the ice for the third time in the league series against SUNY Cortland in SUNYAC action, falling 3-0 to the Red Dragons in Cortland in the second Make-A-Wish game of the weekend.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• For a second time in as many days, the SUNY Morrisville and Cortland women's ice hockey teams faced-off in a combined effort to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York, donning special jerseys to honor the work of the organization and the families they serve.
• After Cortland earned the victory Friday night, Morrisville held the Red Dragons scoreless in the first period of today's action, not allowing the first tally until the 7:39 mark of the second period, a power play score.
• The hosts extended their lead to two at 12:14 on a second power play opportunity, while keeping the Mustangs off the board, before adding a final strike late in the third to secure the victory.
• Elizabeth Timby (Getzville, N.Y.) registered 32 saves in net in the loss for the Mustangs, a 15-stop effort in the second period of action.
• Allie Davidson (Niagara Falls, Ont.) led the Mustangs in the face-off circle, winning nine.
