GENESEO, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville field hockey team dropped an 8-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) decision to host SUNY Geneseo Friday afternoon in Geneseo.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Geneseo field hockey scored back-to-back tallies within a minutes time midway through the opening quarter Friday afternoon and didn't look back as they collected a 7-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) match win over the visiting SUNY Morrisville Mustangs in Geneseo.
• Morrisville's Jenna Gutierrez (Syracuse, N.Y.) had 10 stops in the Mustang efforts in net, including six in the second quarter of play.
• Morrisville allowed four tallies in the opening quarter before limiting the Knights to just one over the ensuing 30 minutes of play, shutting out the hosts in the third quarter.
• Seven different Geneseo players registered a goal, including Hanna Pochobradsky and Emma Landers who each also added an assist to their totals.
