WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Morrisville will meet St. Mary's College for a rematch of last year's championship final, after the top seeded Seahawks defeated fourth seed Hilbert, 21-3 earlier this afternoon.

  • Morrisville got a second tally of the quarter to claim the 2-1 lead after one with 1:41 to go in the frame, with Zach Nestor (Manlius, N.Y.) rolling crease and adding the behind the back tally for the hosts.
  • A tally from Dean Mohammed (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) under a minute into the second kicked off a seven goal frame for the hosts, who led 9-1 at the half.
  • Mohammed put away the snipe from Nestor, before Chis Picciott (Brewerton, N.Y.) got in on the action with his first of four on the night off the feed from Kistner.
  • Patriarco posted another before Daniel Squires (Aquebogue, N.Y.) notched one at the 6:01 mark.
  • Kistner buried the feed from Nestor for the six-goal lead, before tallies from Curtis Robitaille (Endwell, N.Y.) and Patriarco extended the advantage to eight.
  • It was all Morrisville in the second half, pouring in five more tallies in the third for the commanding 14-1 lead and adding another four in the final frame to put the contest out of reach.
