Morrisville Men Run Past Lions in Conference Play



Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's basketball team picked up their sixth straight win as they beat Eastern Nazarene 106-83.  The Mustangs offense would stay hot as they would score 55 points in the first half and 51 points in the second half to help pick up their third conference win of the season.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • In the first half the Mustangs would shoot 57.89% from the field (22-38) while also shooting 57.89% from the 3-point line (11-19).  In the second half the Mustangs would keep things rolling as they would shoot 20-33 from the field for 60.61%.
  • Morrisville had six different players score in double figures, led by Brandon Kulakowski (Brewerton, N.Y.) who shot 7-11 from the field, 3-6 from behind the arc and 2-2 from the free throw line for 19 points.  Kulakowski also pulled down a team high 7 rebounds.
  • Shykell Brown (Rochester, N.Y.) and Jakhi Lucas (Rochester, N.Y.) both finished with 18 points for the Mustangs.  Brown would also pull down a team high 7 rebounds, while Lucas dished out 4 assists and finished with a team high 4 steals.
  • Daimarr Miller (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Kareem Sanders (Schenectady, N.Y.) both scored in double figures as Miller finished with 12 points and Sanders finished with 10 points.
  • Jacob Work (Liverpool, N.Y.) would come off the bench and shoot 6-7 from the field, 1-1 from behind the arc, and 1-2 from the free throw line, while teammate TJ Oliver (Brooklyn, N.Y.) would come off the bench and finish with a team high 6 assists.
