Morrisville, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team went into halftime up 20-19 but would not be able to hold onto that lead as Elmira College would pick up the win 58-49.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Mustangs strong defense would force 18 turnovers and would finish with 9 steals and 6 blocks in the game.  Morrisville defense would also hold the Soaring Eagles to 32.8% shooting from the field.
• Anyssia Ingersoll (Mexico, N.Y.) led the Mustangs in scoring as her quickness would get her to the hoop to produce 15 points for the Mustangs.  Ingersoll also pulled down 7 rebounds and finished with 2 steaks and 3 assists.
• Dezia Becker (Endicott, N.Y.) would also score in double-digits for the Mustangs as she finished with 11 points.  Becker would finish with a team high 3 three pointers made.
• Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) finished with a team high 10 rebounds for the Mustangs.  Hammersley would also finish with 6 points scored, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
• Hannah Bonczkowski (Otego, N.Y.) finished with a team high 4 steals while teammate Anna Neufeld (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) finished with a team high 4 blocks.
