Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Junior Tron Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted a game high 29 points Wednesday evening as he led host SUNY Morrisville men's basketball to a 75-65 victory in United East play in Morrisville.

• Junior Tron Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted a collegiate high 29 points Wednesday evening to lead host SUNY Morrisville to a 75-65 United East victory over visiting Penn St. Berks in Morrisville.
• Smith, who played 38 minutes on the court for the Mustangs, went 11-for-23 from the floor, including adding four from long range, while contributing five rebounds and three assists to his totals on the night.
• Two additional Mustangs notched double figures in the win, including Jon Brennan (Irvington, N.Y.) with 16 and Michael Litchfield (St. Albans, N.Y.) with 10.
• Morrisville edged the Nittany Lions 35-31 on the glass, including an eight rebound effort from Mike Green (Bronx, N.Y.) who led all on the boards.
• The Mustangs led 37-36 at the break after battling back and forth with Berks through the opening half, and after trailing by seven in the opening minutes of the second was able to make a run to get back in the contest and shift the momentum in their favor.
• Smith collected a fast break score midway through the half to bring the Mustangs within one, before a layup from Jordan Coard (Jamaica, N.Y.) regained the lead with just over eight minutes to go.
• Morrisville then put together a 15-0 run to claim a double-digit lead over the Lions, fueled by nine straight points from Smith that included back to back scores from beyond the arc.
• Berks was able to close the gap to eight with 2:49 to go, but the Mustangs offense proved too much to stop down the stretch as they collected the league win.
