MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Mustangs dropped a 5-1 Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) contest at home on Friday afternoon against the visiting Red Dragons from SUNY Cortland

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The visiting Red Dragons picked up two goals in the middle of the first period to jump out to a 2-0 lead.
- However, just over two minutes after Cortland's second goal, the Mustangs cut the lead in half when Kendra Johnston (St. Albert, Alta.) got free on a break away at the 12:24 mark.
- Unfortunately, it was all Cortland from the second period on as the visitors put away a third goal in the second period, and two more in the third to take the 5-1 victory.

The Mustangs' turnaround will be short as they host the second ranked team in the nation, Plattsburgh State tomorrow at 2 PM in another NEWHL matchup.
