Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's basketball team resumed action Tuesday night as they picked up a 78-33 United East win over visiting Wells College behind a collaborative team effort.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Morrisville put together a team wide effort Tuesday night as they downed visiting Wells College 78-33 in United East action, with all eight players contributing to the scoring.
• Three posted double figures, including Brooke Hammersley (Weedsport, N.Y.) who led the way with 18, collecting a double-double as she snagged 11 rebounds.
• Josely Medina (Florida, N.Y.) contributed 17 in her collegiate debut, hitting four from long range, while Ashley LaRuffa (Hamilton, N.Y.) added another 11, just missing a double-double with nine boards.
• Morrisville raced out to a 28-12 opening quarter lead before holding the visiting Express scoreless in the second as they went on to lead 42-12 at the break.
• The Mustangs extended their lead, shooting a combined 54% effort in the second half to roll to the win.
• Morrisville dominated play in the paint, outgaining Wells 52 to 18, and forced 29 Express miscues that they turned into 30 points on the night.
