MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Mustangs set the tone early, picking up the first two sets. Unfortunately, they stumbled in the next two until they were able to regroup to take the fifth set 15-12 for the 3-2 set win.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Both the Lakers and the Mustangs put pressure on with their serve games, tallying 14 and 15 respectively over the five sets. Brianna Gates (Eagle, Colo.) led all servers with five aces.
- Gates also led the way for the Mustangs offensively, picking up 17 kills.
- Kirsten Florio (Wellsboro, Pa.) and Kayci Olson (Cortland, N.Y.) also produced double digit kill efforts for the Mustangs as each recorded 13.
- Hannah Taylor (Goshen, N.Y.) continued to distribute the ball as she posted 41 assists.
