ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Mustangs closed out the last match of their Nazareth College tournament appearance with a three set loss to the Tigers from RIT on Saturday afternoon.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- RIT picked up a convincing 10 point win in the first set 25-15.
- The Mustangs went back and forth with the Tigers in the second set, but RIT ultimately came out on top 25-23
- The Tigers opened up the third set with a quick three point lead and kept adding on with each held serve to defeat the Mustangs 25-11 to close out the three set sweep.
- Kirsten Florio (Wellsboro, Pa.) and Brianna Gates (Eagle, Colo.) once again turned in double digit kill performances to pace the Mustang's offense. Florio ended the match with 12, followed by Gates with 10.
- Siobhan Moore (Leyden, Mass.) dished out 25 assists.
- Isabella Wallace (Homer, N.Y.) also contributed to the Morrisville scoring from the back row, picking up three aces.
NEXT UP FOR THE MUSTANGS
The Mustangs will take a brief break from competition this week and weekend. When Morrisville does step on the court again, it will be for a home match with SUNY Oneonta at 7 PM on Wednesday, September 29.
