MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville women's soccer team exploded for three first half goals, earning their first United East conference win over Gallaudet University on Sunday afternoon. Four Mustangs recorded goals for the hosts, who now sit at 4-1-1 overall, and hold a 1-0-1 record in United East conference play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Mustang offense erupted to the tune of three first half goals, taking 15 shots in the first half alone. Madison Pelton (Phoenix, NY) struck first for the Mustangs, recording her second goal in two days. Pelton gained control after the ball ricocheted off several defenders, striking the ball just outside the penalty box and finding the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead.
- A rocket off the foot of Angelina Rinaldi (Huntington Station, NY) gave Morrisville a 2-0 lead at 20:01. Brianne Barnes (Waterville, NY) played a picture-perfect ball to a waiting Rinaldi in the center of the penalty box, punching a shot with her left foot straight past Gallaudet's keeper.
- Emily Frazier (Berlin, VT) rounded out the first half scoring for the Mustangs, notching her first collegiate goal just seconds before the horn sounded for halftime. The freshman midfielder one-timed a shot from 20 yards out, finding the back of the net, with the assist credited to Brenna Keller (Marathon, NY).
- Jozlyn Dolan (Pennellville, NY) tacked on the final goal for the Mustangs at 78:48, joining Frazier with her first collegiate score. Laura Bedell (New Hartford, NY) earned the assist.
- The Mustangs tallied 32 shots, 21 of them on target, and held a large 7-1 advantage in corner kicks on the afternoon.

- The Mustangs take a break from United East conference play to host Hilbert College on Wednesday afternoon, with play scheduled to start at 4:00pm.
