  • Gwyneth Pritchard (Saskatoon, Sask.) started the scoring at the 14:24 mark with assists from Hailee Easson (Okotoks, Alta.) and Kate Mabey (Guelph, Ont.).
  • Exactly two minutes later, Alana McDonald (Potsdam, N.Y.) found the back of the net.  Forward line mates, Kendra Johnston (St. Albert, Alta.) and Rhys Brown (Kemptville, Ont.) picked up the assists.
  • The Mustangs closed out their scoring frenzy with 44 seconds remaining in the opening period off of the stick of Allie Davidson (Niagara Falls, Ont.).  Sierra Voeller (Penticton, B.C.) was credited with the first assist, while Elly Gamble (Potsdam, N.Y.) picked up the second assist.
