• Freshman Melanie Rott (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) recorded nine stops to keep the Nittany Lions off the board across the 110 total minutes in net.
• Morrisville pressured the hosts in the first extra frame, recording two shots, while Rott turned away one for the Lions, forcing a second overtime period.
• In the second extra time, Morrisville was whistled offsides on a break-a-way, before Abington rifled off two, of which Rott stopped to preserve the tie.
