AURORA, N.Y. – Morrisville State women's soccer scored twice in the opening half, and added another tally in the second, as they claimed the 3-0 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opening win over Wells College Saturday afternoon in Aurora.

• Two first half tallies, and another in the second half, led to a 3-0 Mustang win over host Wells College Saturday afternoon in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action in Aurora.
• Shay Franklin (Norwich, N.Y.) put the Mustangs on the board 10:43 into the first half with her unassisted chip, before senior Madison Shoemaker (Caledonia, N.Y.) added a second Morrisville State score in the 43^rd minute for a 2-0 cushion at the break.
• Jessica McGee (Lebanon, Conn.) collected her first of the season in the 88^th minute off a dish from Hailey Moriarty (Nunda, N.Y.) putting the game out of reach for the hosts.
• Morrisville State outshot the hosts 27-2 on the day, with Meaghan Miller (West Irondequoit, N.Y.) turning away one for the shutout victory, her second of the season.
