HOOKSETT, N.H. – The Mustangs responded to an early Wentworth goal in the first period, but the Leopards rattled off five unanswered goals to defeat Morrisville 6-1 in the SNHU Tournament Championship.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Wentworth got their offense going early, picking up the 1-0 lead just 43 seconds into the contest.
- Morrisville was able to respond though, taking advantage of a Wentworth boarding penalty in the waning seconds of their power play. Ryan Bochert (Denver, Colo.) notched the goal, his second of the season to knot the score at 1-1. Jesse Anderson (Wasaga Beach, Ont.) and Richard Hart (Liverpool, N.Y.) picked up the assists.
- However, from that point on, it was all Wentworth as the Leopards posted another goal at the 18:05 mark in the first and then two more goals in each the second and third periods to capture the SNHU Tournament Championship.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The Mustangs will turn their focus back onto conference play as they host the Bears from SUNY Potsdam on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7 at the IcePlex. Puck is set to drop at 7 PM on Friday and 4 PM on Saturday.
