  • Morrisville opened the second half with the ball and ate up over four minutes of time off the clock, capping off a 10-play, 69-yard drive with a one-yard rushing score from Williams, his second of the game, before regaining possession moments later as Hartwick coughed up the ball on the kick-off and Shawn Pierson (Poland, N.Y.) recovered the fumble.
  • The turnover proved costly, as Morrisville added to their lead with a second Flatow to Cooper strike, this time from five-yards out, to extend the lead to a 42-7 advantage.
  • Morrisville collected another score not even three minutes later, this time at the direction of Frerichs, who on his first attempt hit Abdullah for a 37-yard gain. Cirasuolo capped off the drive with three straight carries, extending the lead to a six possession game.
  • Hartwick got one back, but not before the Mustangs added another after at the 3:16 mark after Sage Thomas (Brooklyn, N.Y.) stripped the ball from Hartwick's kick returner, recovering the ball on the host 41 yard line.
  • A Mustang turnover resulted in a Hartwick score early in the fourth, and the hosts added to their efforts with a second quarter touchdown, but it wasn't enough as Nelson picked off Harman on two consecutive Hawk drives to secure the win for the Mustangs.
