READING, Pa. – The Morrisville State Women's Volleyball picked up two key North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) road wins on Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten in conference play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Morrisville was completely dominant from the first match on, defeating Penn College in decisive fashion by set scores of 25-11, 25-9, and 25-16.
- Kirsten Florio (Wellsboro, Pa.) took the reins for the Mustangs in the first set, putting away 12 kills as a part of Morrisville's overall 38 kill performance in the match.
- While the Mustangs turned in a solid offensive performance, it was the astounding total of 16 service aces that propelled them to victory. Sam Wolf (Liverpool, N.Y.) led the way with 6 aces, while Hannah Taylor (Goshen, N.Y.) added 4.
- The strong serve game carried over into the second match as Morrisville dropped 5 aces on Penn State Berks in addition to tallying 46 team kills.
- The outside hitters took center stage against Berks with Megyan Merrill (Millport, N.Y.) collecting 20 kills, while Amelia Baratier (Liverpool, N.Y.) added 16 kills of her won.
- Taylor collected 61 assists between both matches, and Wolf anchored the defense with 39 digs on the day.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The Mustangs will take a brief break from NEAC action as they hit the road for a 7 PM match on Wednesday evening against Oneonta. Morrisville will their NEAC Crossover Weekend on Saturday, October 19 with matches against Penn State Harrisburg and Penn State Abington.
