  • Morrisville, who drops to 1-1 overall on the young season, put together two drives in the fourth quarter in an attempt to post the comeback, but each were stopped short by the hosts.
  • Rochester was the first to put numbers on the scoreboard on the afternoon, capitalizing off a Morrisville miscue for the one-yard scoring rush over middle at the 9:43 mark of the first quarter.
  • Morrisville pulled the game even on their ensuing drive, capping off the seven play drive over 65-yards with a 23-yard scoring pass play from Logan Watson (Lowville, N.Y.) to Dom Dorman (Gloversville, N.Y.) at 6:58.
  • Jesus Cediel (Bronx, N.Y.) completed the point after.
  • Rochester regained the lead early in the second with a 16-yard pass from Shawn Bellenger to TJ Shufflet, but Morrisville ate away at the clock adding a 23-yard field goal from Cediel to their total before the half.
  • A scoreless third sent both teams into the final frame battling it out for the final whistle, and it was the Yellowjackets that found the endzone early in the frame, widening their lead to 21-10 with a 19-yard scoring pass play again from Bellenger to Shifflet.
  • Morrisville had two drive attempts across the remainder of the quarter, both coming within striking distance, but the hosts forced a turnover on downs and came up with an interception to keep the visitors off the board for the remainder of the contest.
  • Watson finished 17-for-25 for 120-yards and a score for the Mustangs, hitting Mason Ondreyko (Wallkill, N.Y.) four times for 36 yards.
