CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's cross country team finished second overall among five teams Saturday morning at the Finger Lakes Community College Bruce Bridgeman Invitational, compiling 54 team points.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's cross-country team compiled 54 team points Saturday morning at the Finger Lakes Bruce Bridgeman Invitational, finishing second overall out of five competing teams.
• Laura Powers (Chittenango, N.Y.) led the Mustangs with a top 10 finish in the field of 53 runners, crossing eighth overall with a time of 22:41.
• Sapphire Allen (New Berlin, N.Y.) added a 15^th place finish overall with a time of 23:48 to score second for Morrisville, while Beth Laming (Oneida, N.Y.) scored third behind a time of 24:48 to finish 17^th overall.
• Mikaela Phu (Clyde, N.Y.) scored fourth, crossing in 25:37 for an individual 22^nd place finish, before Catherine Bink (Schenectady, N.Y.) rounded out the team effort with her 24^th individual finish with a time of 26:01.
