CORTLAND, N.Y. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's track and field had a strong showing at the 2026 Cortland Red Dragon Classic, held Friday afternoon and Saturday in Cortland, placing five in the top 10 of their respective events, in addition to a ninth-place finish by a relay team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• SUNY Morrisville men's track and field had five place in the top 10 of their respective events across competition held Friday and Saturday at the Cortland Classic Track and Field Competition in Cortland, in addition to a top 10 finish by a relay team.
• Morrisville had five competing in the 100-meter race with sophomore Siyel Bowman (Bronx, N.Y.) edging fellow teammate Kip Isaac (Binghamton, N.Y.) for the 22^nd overall position in the stacked field by hundredths of a second as he posted a time of 11.291, while Isaac crossed in 11.294.
• Bowman was top finisher for Morrisville in the 200-meter race as well, crossing in 19^th overall position in the field of 64 racers, posting a time of 22.54.
• The sophomore took home a top three finish in the 400, posting a time of 50.19 seconds to lead the Mustangs.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) bested the Mustang field in the 800-meter race, earning a ninth overall finish as he posted a time of 2:04.09.
• Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) also turned in a third-place finish for Morrisville in the men's 1500-meter run, earning the time of 4:04.57.
• Donnell Davis (Binghamton, N.Y.) finished in the top 10 in the men's 5000-meters with a time of 16:40.93.
• The men's 4x100 relay team of Isaac, Thomas Eison (St. Albans, N.Y.), Bowman and Areion Joseph (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) finished ninth overall with a time of 44.22 seconds.
• In field events, Kyle Snow (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) took home a 10^th place overall finish in the high jump, posting a best height of 1.69 meters.
• Quentin White (Houston, Texas) was the top finisher for Morrisville in the shot put, throwing the weight a distance of 10.88 meters.
