POTSDAM, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision Friday night, posting a third period score before falling short in the comeback attempt on the road at SUNY Potsdam in SUNYAC play.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host Potsdam State held a 2-0 lead after two periods of play before visiting Morrisville women's hockey rallied in the third, attempting to rally for a comeback in the final frame, but fell short 2-1 as the Bears posted the win.
• Morrisville's lone score came at the 5:45 mark of the third, a power play score from defenseman Tilly Couture (Bedford, N.S.) who collected her fifth on the season.
• Zoe Leas (North Vancouver, B.C.) and Lindsey Durant (Bombay, N.Y.) were credited with the assists.
• J'Anne Colbow (Weyburn, Sask.) recorded 37 in the loss for the Mustangs in net.
