UTICA, N.Y. –  The SUNY Morrisville men's indoor track and field team competed Saturday afternoon at the Utica Fast Trax Invitational held at the Hutton Dome in Utica, setting new indoor record marks come day end.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's indoor track and field competed at the Utica University Fast Trax Invitational Saturday, setting four new indoor record marks come final event at the meet.
• Morrisville kicked off the day's action with a record breaking mark by Donnell Davis (Binghamton, N.Y.) in the 5000-meter run, as the junior finished eighth overall with a time of 16:59.66.
• Ethan Cossett (Oneida, N.Y.) finished ninth overall in the race, crossing the finish line with a time of 17:34.33.
• Ladan Cerna (Hempstead, N.Y.) put together a 9.29 second time in the men's 60-meter hurdles, setting a new indoor record mark for the Mustangs, while finishing 11^th overall in the field of 24.
• Kaleel Tobias (Rosedale, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Mustangs in the 60-meter race, crossing in 7.62 to earn a 34^th individual finish.
• Michael Ventricelli (Massapequa, N.Y.) recorded a time of 4:38.96 in the mile run, finishing 10^th overall.
• Teammates Nate Dziedzic (Chittenango, N.Y.) and Elijah Evelyn (Syracuse, N.Y.) finished 16^th and 17^th, respectively, with times of 4:53.17 and 4:55.62.
• Nasir King (Elmira, N.Y.) ran a 5:06.96 time for 22^nd overall, with Zephrym Grover (Amherst, N.Y.) crossing five seconds later with a time of 5:11.77 for 24^th overall.
• Hunter Matteson (Morrisville, N.Y.) was 27^th with a time of 5:13.81, rounding out the Mustang competition in the mile.
• Siyel Bowman (Bronx, N.Y.) crossed the finish line in fourth overall in the 400-meter race, recording a time of 50.95 for a new indoor record mark for the Mustangs.
• Newcomer Areion Joseph (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) made his Morrisville debut with a time of 55.97 while teammate Cameron Evans (Vernon, N.Y.) rounded out the Mustang field with his time of 63.90.
• Evelyn was the top finisher for the Mustangs in the 800-meter race, placing sixth overall with his time of 2:10.84, edging King who finished seventh with a time of 2:13.02.
• Fernando Burgos (Washingtonville, N.Y.) represented Morrisville in the 1000-meter race, crossing in 3:08.48 to earn 13^th overall.
• Cerna also competed in the 200-meter race, recording a time of 25.006 to earn 33^rd overall, while Tobias finished in 25.23, a 36^th individual place finish.
• Joseph turned in a time of 25.38, finishing 39^th, while Evans was 43^rd with a time of 26.07.
• Grover was the lone Mustang to run the 3000, finishing in 10:46.00 to earn a 22^nd place overall.
• The men's 4x400 relay team of Ventricelli, Dziedzic, Bowman and Tobias finished fourth overall with a time of 3:39.28, just three seconds outside third place captured by Hamilton.
• Isaac Sylvain (Schenectady, N.Y.) competed in the high jump for Morrisville, posting a height of 1.70 meters to earn 13^th overall, also setting a new indoor mark for the Mustangs.
