OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Mustangs traveled to Oswego Friday night, where they battled in overtime but would ultimately lose to the Lakers 101-93.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Oswego controlled the opening 20 minutes building a 42-36 lead entering halftime.
The Mustangs cut into the Lakers lead multiple times but were unable to overcome it because of their turnover troubles.
Oswego started the second half strong building a lead as large as 17 points midway through.
Morrisville mounted an incredible comeback led by Bruce Wingate (Liverpool, N.Y.) who had 11 points and two steals in a five-minute window.
More strong defensive play from the Mustangs continued as Morrisville brought the game within three points with 25 seconds remaining, before Jalyn Moorehead (Rochester, N.Y.) hit a game-tying three-pointer to send the game into OT.
Morrisville struggled from the field in overtime, getting outscored by eight points, ultimately losing 101-93.
The Mustangs were led in scoring by Wingate who had 21 points, while Jacob Works (Liverpool, N.Y.) contributed 16 points and two blocks.
Moorehead ended the game with 14 points.
Oswego had three 20-point scorers, Arthur Foster, Deacon Judd, and Jayson McGhee, while Gary McLane finished with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double.
