MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's basketball team struggled in the opening half of Friday night's SUNYAC outing against visiting SUNY Oneonta, falling come final whistle by a 105-80 league defeat.

• Visiting SUNY Oneonta men's basketball doubled up the host SUNY Morrisville Mustangs in the first half of Friday night's SUNYAC action in Morrisville, leading to a 105-80 final score in league play at the final buzzer.
• Oneonta forced the Mustangs into 11 first half turnovers and shot more than 55% from the floor to build up a 52-26 lead at the break.
• After Oneonta expanded their lead to 38, Morrisville cut the deficit to 25 but was unable to inch any closer as the Red Dragons collected the win, despite the hosts outgaining the visitors in the second half in scoring.
• Oneonta had five net double figures on the night, including Cam LaClair who reined in the double-double behind 26 points and 10 rebounds.
• Delano Knox also posted the double digit effort with 13 points, snagging 10 rebounds off the glass, while teammate Ibrahim Wally collected 10 points to go with his 10 boards for the double-double effort.
• Kaelem Haskins (Liverpool, N.Y.) led Morrisville's efforts with 13 points, assigning three, with teammate Avion Grainger (Syracuse, N.Y.) adding 11 points to go with a team high six rebounds.
• Bruce Wingate (Liverpool, N.Y.) had nine points, while Jacob Works (Liverpool, N.Y.) and Tony Borges (Auburn, N.Y.) each added eight.
• Oneonta dominated the glass with a 49-32 effort, including 17-11 advantage on the offensive boards that led to a 58 point performance in the paint.
