WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

The Mustangs started strong as they were able to keep the game close for the beginning of the first half.
Despite a 16-0 run from the Hawks late in the first half, Morrisville only trailed by nine at the half.
New Paltz started the second half strong going on a 24-9 run, before Morrisville was able to close the gap.
Jalyn Moorehead (Rochester, N.Y.) hit two clutch three-pointers under the four-minute mark.
Despite ending the game scoring seven straight, Morrisville was unable to complete the comeback.
Moorehead led the way for the Mustangs as he scored 27 points and contributed six steals.
Bruce Wingate (Liverpool, N.Y.) added 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
New Paltz was led by Trevor Amalfitano who had 22 points and five rebounds.
