WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – Host Williams College held the 3-0 advantage entering the final period of Tuesday evening's non-conference battle with visiting SUNY Morrisville women's hockey, relinquishing one foal in the third as they topped the Mustangs by a 4-1 final in Williamstown.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host Williams College women's hockey netted a 4-1 non-league win Tuesday evening in Williamstown, liming the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs to just one tally in the third period.
• Williams scored twice in the opening period, their first coming just 1:40 in before adding another at the 4:08 mark.
• The Ephs added to their total in the second with their third of the night at the eight-minute mark.
• Morrisville was able to put one on the board, their first short-handed tally of the season at 6:14 of the third, as Nora Egri (Budapest, Hungary) buried the dish from Zoe Leas (North Vancouver, B.C.) to prevent the shutout.
• Williams added their final score of the night just over a minute later, a power play score, to put the game out of reach for the Mustangs.
• Morrisville's J'Anne Colbow (Weyburn, Sask.) recorded the loss in net, despite a 42 save effort between the pipes.
