BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville volleyball team fell behind early in set play Friday night, dropping the eventual 3-1 match decision to host SUNY Brockport in Brockport.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville volleyball battled through a four-set match with host SUNY Brockport, but fell short come match point as Brockport picked up the 3-1 win with set scores of 23-25, 23-25, 25-21 and 12-25.
• Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) led the Mustang offensive efforts with 13 kills, adding four assists and 10 total digs across the match, while teammate Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) added an 11 dig, two service ace, six assist effort.
• Morrisville put up a tough effort at the net with a total six blocks coming from Autumn Dailey (Smyrna, N.Y.), Samantha Mehler (Cummings, Ga.) and Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.).
• Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) had 11 digs to lead the Mustangs defensive game, while fellow teammate Kealy Shearer (Haslet, Tex.) added nine to go along with 18 assists.
