OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's cross country team placed three in the top 10 at the SUNY Oswego Invitational Saturday, finishing third overall in team scoring.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's cross country placed three in the top 10 of Saturday's midday race at the Oswego Invitational, earning third place overall in team standings.
• Elizabeth Lucason (Camden, N.Y.) led the Mustangs with a third overall finish among the field of 34, recording a time of 15:33.4.
• Laura Powers (Chittenango, N.Y.) was eighth overall and second to score, crossing in 17:53.8, seconds ahead of Mikaela Phu (Clyde, N.Y.) who was 10^th with a time of 18:06.5.
• Alexa Evans (Pulaski, N.Y.) crossed in 19:16.2, earning 18^th overall to score for the Mustangs, before Sapphire Allen (New Berlin, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with her 22^nd overall finish, a time of 20:17.7.

• Morrisville will return to the races Saturday, Sept. 20 at the University of Rochester.
