ONEONTA, N.Y. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville field hockey dropped their State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opener on the road Saturday, as host Oneonta picked up a 10-0 league win in Oneonta.

• Host SUNY Oneonta jumped out to a 6-0 advantage at the half and didn't look back as they downed visiting SUNY Morrisville field hockey 10-0 in the SUNYAC opener for the 2025 season in Oneonta.
• Oneonta struck just one minute into the contest before adding a second later in the opening quarter for the 2-0 advantage.
• A flurry of scores in the second quarter for the host Dragons sent the game into the halftime period with the Mustangs trailing by six, but Oneonta would add four more scores across the second half to seal the win.
