MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Visiting University of Rochester volleyball posted a match comeback Wednesday night, as the host SUNY Morrisville Mustangs dropped the 3-2 decision on their home court in Morrisville.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Host SUNY Morrisville volleyball led 2-0 in match action Wednesday night, before visiting University of Rochester posted the comeback victory, claiming the win in the decisive set.
• Morrisville opened with set victories of 25-20 and 25-22, but struggled in the third and fourth sets as the Yellowjackets forced a decisive set for the match with their 25-16 and 25-15 set wins to even the contest at two.
• In the fifth, Morrisville went ahead, but the Yellowjackets snuck ahead to claim the win with a 15-13 decision for the match victory.
• Isabella Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) led Morrisville with 16 kills in the offensive game, with another eight coming from senior Mary Trowbridge (Brookhaven, N.Y.).
• Eskierka and Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) added to the offensive efforts with four service aces apiece, while Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) put up 13 assists in the match.
• Morrisville's Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) led the defensive efforts with 18 digs, with Shearer contributing another 13.
• Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.) had five blocks at the net, with Eskierka contributing three more.
