SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's track and field team opened the 2025 outdoor season slate Sunday on the road at nearby Utica University.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• The SUNY Morrisville women's cross country team opened the 2025 season Saturday on the road at LeMoyne College for the Dolphins Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational, placing fifth overall as a team.
• Elizabeth Lucason (Camden, N.Y.) led the Mustangs pack with a third place overall finish, completing the 4K race with a time of 15:13.8.
• Laura Powers (Chittenango, N.Y.) followed with a time of 17:52.7, placing 14^th overall, while Mikaela Phu (Clyde, N.Y.) was 19^th with a time of 18:04.9.
• Alexa Evans (Pulaski, N.Y.) scored fourth for the Mustangs with a 25^th overall finish with a time of 19:25.7 with Sapphire Allen (New Berlin, N.Y.) rounded out scoring with a 31^st overall finish, crossing in 21:14.5.
