MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team collected a 3-0 match win over Geneva on the second day of the Mustangs tournament, posting set wins of 25-13, 25-19 and 25-20 in the all around team effort.
Morrisville, who improves to 3-0 to date on the young season, was led by
Isabelle Eskierka (Amery, Wisc.) with 10 kills and five assists, adding eight digs, while
Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.) added another eight kills to the Mustangs totals.
Siedlecki was a wall at the net with three blocks in the morning match, with senior
Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) adding 24 digs to the defensive game.
Keely Shearer (Haslet, Texas) had 16 assists to go along with three service aces in the match.
Morrisville outgained Geneva in hitting, .204 to .009 en route to the win.
The Mustangs will return to the court for the final match of opening weekend at 2 p..m. against Western New England.
