Box Score ALFRED, N.Y. – Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's lacrosse poured in 17 goals across three quarters of action Saturday to down host Alfred State by a 20-1 final score on the road in Alfred, picking up their first win of the 2025 season.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville men's lacrosse cruised to a 20-1 non-conference win over host Alfred State Saturday afternoon, building up a nine goal lead at the break before putting the game out of reach in the third with a seven goal frame.
• The Mustangs got a seven-point outing from junior attackman Jason Tedeschi (Manlius, N.Y.) who collected four goals and three assists, while sophomore Kyan Dohn (East Brunswick, N.J.) added six points behind his three goals and three assists.
• Dean Mohammed (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) and Nicholas DeNicola (Southold, N.Y.) each added five points, Mohammed notching five goals while DeNicola scored three times and added two assists.
• Andrew Idzik (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) paced the defensive unit with six ground balls, adding four caused turnovers, while limiting the Pioneer attack unit to 13 total shots across the afternoon.
• Morrisville, who dominated every statistical category, saw Ben Cooter (Chittenango, N.Y.) win all nine attempts from the center x as the Mustangs posted 14 faceoff wins.
• Blake Dunton (Middlesex, N.Y.) picked up the win in net, turning aside five, two in the fourth quarter.
• Morrisville opened with four straight scores before the hosts added one of their own, ending the opening quarter with a final strike for a 5-1 lead after one.
• The Mustangs rattled off five more in the second, including netting three within a span of 30 seconds, before putting the game out of reach with a seven-goal burst in the third, three coming off the stick of Tedeschi.

• Morrisville will return to the field Wednesday, hosting Utica University at 4 p.m. in a final non-conference lineup before opening SUNYAC play against Cortland Saturday.
