MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's hockey team closed out the 2024-25 season campaign Friday night, hosting no. 13 ranked SUNY Cortland, and falling by a 10-2 SUNYAC final in Morrisville.

• Host SUNY Morrisville men's hockey closed out the 2024-25 season campaign Friday night on their home ice, acknowledging their senior class after the final whistle.
• No. 13 ranked Cortland notched four tallies in each the first and third periods to claim the dominating 10-2 win over the Mustangs.
• Morrisville got two scores in the second period of action, their first just 1:33 into the second period as Wyatt Allan (Capistrano Beach, Calif.) shot the slap from the blue line over the pad of Cortland's netminder for the power play score.
• Maxim Maziarchuk (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Connor Carlile (Southlake, Texas) were credited with the assists.
• Morrisville added a second score midway through the period, as Zach Nicholls (Chestermere, Alta.) had the one-time wrister for the tally.
• Maziarchuk picked up his second assist of the night, chipping the puck forward off the defensive end clear from Logan James (Belleville, Ont.).
• Grant Linville (Edmond, Ont.) recorded the loss in net, registering 27 saves in 42 minutes of action before Will Goumas (Brampton, Ont.) finished out the final 18, turning aside nine.
• Domenic Settimo led Cortland with a hat trick, netting three tallies and assisting one, while five additional teammates picked up scores on the night.
