PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Host Plattsburgh State put together a late 12-0 run Saturday afternoon to down the visiting SUNY Morrisville Mustangs by a 65-53 SUNYAC final in Plattsburgh.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's basketball held a slight edge over host Plattsburgh State heading into the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon, but the host Cardinals put together a late 12-0 run in the final minutes to claim the 65-53 win over the Mustangs in Plattsburgh.
• Morrisville entered the fourth quarter with a one-point lead over the Cardinals and opened with a three off the hand of Kieonna Christmas (Fultonville, N.Y.), but the hosts were able to keep within a one-possession game until a bucket with 4:04 remaining sparked the late push to seal the win.
• Christmas led Morrisville's efforts with 17 points, collecting the double double as she pulled down 12 off the glass, while assisting a total five on the afternoon.
• Hannah Bonczkowski (Otego, N.Y.) added 13 points to go along with two steals, while Hayley Dawson (Papamoa, New Zealand) chipped in nine points, all three-pointers, while collecting six rebounds.
• Abbie Platt (Oneonta, N.Y.) contributed seven points and eight rebounds.
• Plattsburgh had three net double digits, including leader Julia Greek who posted 18 points and five rebounds.
