MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) selected its Academic All-District team honorees for Women's Volleyball, naming sophomore middle hitter
Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.) from SUNY Morrisville to the 2025-26 list.
The Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Sieldlecki earns the academic accolade for the first time in her career. The sophomore appeared in 27 total matches across the year, collecting 210.0 points in 96 sets. Siedlecki registered 161 total kills to go along with five assists and six aces, and played a huge role in the defensive game for the Mustangs at the net.
Across the season Sieldlecki led the team in blocks, recording 68 total that included 18 solo blocks. Additionally, she recorded 25 digs.
"Sam is the very definition of a Division III student-athlete," head coach
Fred Wallace said.
"She works exceptionally hard on the court and in the classroom. It is this dedication to being a true student-athlete that has recently led to her being named Captain for the next season.
"As her coach, I am extremely proud of her and the work she has put into excelling both academically and athletically."
