MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville men's basketball team failed to hold onto a second half lead as visiting Utica University staged a comeback win over the Mustangs with a large run in the second half en route to the 83-71 victory in Morrisville.

• Visiting Utica University men's basketball posted a second half comeback win over host SUNY Morrisville Wednesday night, collecting the 83-71 victory with a second half charge.
• Morrisville led 65-48 with just under nine minutes remaining in the contest before the Pioneers put together a 33-6 run over the remainder of the game, shooting nearly 60% from the floor in the second half.
• Jacob Works (Liverpool, N.Y.) led the Mustang efforts with 13 points, while adding seven rebounds and four assists to the team's totals.
• Bruce Wingate (Liverpool, N.Y.) also posted double digits, chipping in 10 points to go along with four rebounds.
• Kaelem Haskins (Liverpool, N.Y.) had nine points and five assists to wrap up the Morrisville leaderboard.
• Utica got a game high 27 points from Jordan Cain who also hit 12-of-14 attempts from the free throw line.
• Dayion Thompson posted 24 and Ryan McCardle 14 to lead the Pioneers.
