POTSDAM, N.Y. – Freshman Kieonna Christmas (Fultonville, N.Y.) posted a career high 26 points Friday night, leading the SUNY Morrisville women's basketball efforts in a 69-61 road loss to host Potsdam in SUNYAC play.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville women's basketball dropped a 69-61 league decision to host SUNY Potsdam Friday night, despite a career high effort from freshman Kieonna Christmas (Fultonville, N.Y.).
• Christmas, who collected a team high 26 points, hit three from beyond the arc, while snagging a team best seven rebounds and five assists in the Mustang efforts on the night.
• Hannah Bonczkowski (Otego, N.Y.) added 12 points on a 4-of-5 effort from long range, while teammate Celeste Baldwin (Bainbridge, N.Y.) came off the bench to contribute 11 points, assisting two others.
• Potsdam had four net double figures, including Jenna Cotter, who led the way with a double-double behind her 17 points and 13 rebounds.
• Trailing 40-31 at the half, Morrisville was able to chip away at the deficit to cut the Bears lead to just six come end of the third quarter and closed the gap to four late in the final frame, but Potsdam was able to close out the final 1:08 with a 6-2 scoring advantage to secure the win
