SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville field hockey team struggled in Friday afternoon's non-conference bout at host Union College, dropping the non-conference match up by a 9-0 final score in Schenectady.

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville field hockey combined for 15 goalkeeper saves and had two defensive stops but were unable to hold back host Union College as they dropped the non-conference match by a 9-0 final score in Schenectady.
• Union held a 5-0 lead at the break, striking minutes into the opening period.
• Morrisville's defensive unit kept busy as Union placed 26 total shots on goal, two of which were turned away by defensive back Rebecca Thomas (Marcy, N.Y.).
