MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville volleyball team posted a 3-1 match win over Hilbert College Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Oswego State Invitational, serving up a weekend high 15 aces.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Visiting SUNY Morrisville topped Hilbert College by a 3-1 match final score Saturday afternoon in the second day of the Oswego Invitational hosted by the Lakers, claiming the match with set victories of 25-15, 14-25, 25-13, and 25-15.
• Morrisville outgained the Hawks 43 kills to their 27, served up a weekend high 15 aces and hit a collective .209 from the floor to earn the win.
• Senior Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, Tex.) led all hitting leaders with 17 kills, hitting .382 across the contest, while teammate Kayci Olson (Cortland, N.Y.) added to the Mustang win with her nine kills on a .421 hitting effort.
• Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) collected eight kills to go along with 12 assists, with fellow setter Samantha Mehler (Cumming, Ga.) posting 20 assists across four sets.
• Kylie Hutchinson (Liberty Hill, Tex.) and Huppee posted 14 digs a piece while six separate Mustangs recorded blocks, including a team high four from Samantha Siedlecki (Thorton, Colo.).
• Hutchinson and Kamryn Roher (Morrisville, N.Y.) had a stellar serving game for Morrisville, each registering five aces in the win.
