MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville women's volleyball team dropped a 24-22 fifth set decision to visiting Alfred University, falling in match action by a 3-2 score in the Mustangs tournament held in Morrisville Saturday.

• Host SUNY Morrisville dropped a extended fifth set decision to visiting Alfred University Saturday, as the visiting Saxons claimed the 3-2 match win with a 24-22 victory in the final set.
• The contest went down to the wire with back and forth offensive battles, but it was Alfred that was able to pull out the win.
• Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, Tex.) led the Mustang efforts with 29 kills, adding 11 digs and 1.5 blocks at the net, while teammate Kayci Olson (Cortland, N.Y.) added 15 kills and two assisted blocks.
• Cassandra Bellmore (Windsor, N.Y.) put up 31 assists, while Samantha Mehler (Cummings, Ga.) added nine.
• Kayla Sheasby (Hood River, Ore.) collected a team high 20 digs on the defensive side of the ball, with freshman Kylie Hutchinson (Liberty Hill, N.Y.) adding another 12, also serving up four aces.
