  • Head coach Corey Fonseca posted his first win on the sidelines for the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs Friday afternoon as his squad posted a 3-0 victory on opening day over visiting Keuka College in Morrisville.

  • Morrisville added to their lead early in the second half with a second score, as Latorre found Javier Duarte (New Rochelle, N.Y.) alone at the top of the box for the strike into the right side of the net at the 55' mark.
  • Keuka had opportunities to close the gap late in the contest, but senior goalkeeper Caleb Lucero (Syracuse, N.Y.) turned away five attempts to keep the Wolves off the board and collect the shut out victory.
  • Morrisville added a final tally off the foot of El Hadji Gueye (Bronx, N.Y.) who collected the rebound save for the chip inside the right post, sealing the Mustangs 3-0 win.
  • Lucero finished with six saves for the win in net, as Morrisville held the 7-6 shot on goal advantage.
