MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The SUNY Morrisville Athletics Department has announced the addition of Andrew Brush, ATC, to its athletic training staff beginning immediately.
Brush comes to SUNY Morrisville after completing four seasons within the National Football League, interning with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
During his time with the franchises, he collaborated with strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers and performance specialists to carry out rehabilitation sessions and maintain appropriate care of athletes in addition to providing extensive medical coverage on the playing field.
Brush earned his bachelors of science degree in biology from St. Lawrence university where he minored in sports studies and exercise science in 2019. He earned his Masters of Science degree in athletic training, having completed clinical rotations with the University of Buffalo, Buffalo Bills, Daemen College and Clarence High School, in May 2021.
Brush obtained his RockBlades Certification in December 2023 and is a member of the New York State and New Jersey Athletic Trainers Associations, alongside Eastern Athletic Trainers and National Athletic Trainers Associations.
He will be responsible for overseeing football coverage this fall season.
